Taxonomic note:

Most probably a synonym of Phyllonorycter melanosparta (Meyrick, 1912) (J. De Prins pers. obs.). Multiple available DNA barcodes of P. melanosparta (see De Prins et al. 2009, see https://doi.org/10.11646/zootaxa.2281.1.4) were probably not consulted and compared.
