Distribution note:

The record of Russia (Far East, South Primorye) (Ermolaev 1977: 111) was doubted by Kumata (1982b: 73) but confirmed by Baryshnikova (i.l.); the records of Japan: Hokkaidō, Kyūshū, Shikoku, and Satunan Island (Kumata 1963a: 81) refer to Phyllonorycter similis Kumata, 1982 (see Kumata 1982b: 72–74).
