Distribution note:

The record from Italy (Sardinia) (Hartig & Amsel 1952: 96), based on two specimens collected on wing, is very doubtful (Triberti 2007: 176).

Plant note:

Mine on the upperside of the leaf. Records of Prunus padus and Prunus domestica (Bradley et al. 1969) are very doubtful (Triberti 2007: 176).
