Tentiform mine on underside of leaf.The record on Acer pseudoplatanus (Chambers 1871: 57) should be confirmed. The records of Quercus alba L. and Quercus sp. (Godfrey et al. 1987: 16) are probably erroneous (Maier & Davis 1989: 15).
