*   A rather small blotch-mine on upper surface of leaf, oval or elliptical, always elongate along middle vein. The record of Ailanthus malabarica DC. [Simarrubaceae] from Kumaon (Meyrick 1928a: 406, Fletcher 1933: 39) is doubtful (Kumata 1973: 16).
