An extremely long and narrow mine in young twigs, being only a tract beneath the young and delicate cuticle of the branches (Clemens 1863: 8). The records of Citrus sp. and C. sinensis (L.) Osbeck [Rutaceae] (Robinson et al. 2002: 285) are probably erroneous, or refer to Marmara gulosa Guillén & Davis, 2001.
