The record for Taiwan (Hwang. & Hsieh 1989) is a misidentification of either C. litchiella or C. sinensis (Shen-Horn Yen pers. comm. 11.ix.2021). The record from Australia: New South Wales, as the DNA sequence MW378287 (Siraj et al. 2026: 175) indicates the wrong location. The correct location of this sample is Papua New Guinea: East Sepik, Wewak, Suanum, collection date 13.ii.2019, collector P. S.
