*   A long serpentine mine parallel to leaf veins; about 10 cm in length, with a brownish frass line 1.0 mm in width. Mines on both sides of the leaf. Often two mines per leaf. The final instar spins a white cocoon on the leaf margin (Kirichenko et al. 2018).
