COMMENTAccording to Kumata (1981: 14–15) possibly a synonym of Gracilaria octopunctata Turner, 1894. Formally synonymized with Gracilaria octopunctata Turner, 1894 by Triberti (1989: 82). Not accepted by Vári (2002, pers. comm.).
